The 23 mm width High Performance Aluminium is pinned at the join for strength and durability, and features SSE for improved seating of the spoke nipples, resulting in a more consistent and longer-lasting build. J-bend spokes are laced three-cross, with 28 for each wheel. Industrial bearings ensure smooth running and a long service life, and with the use of appropriate rim tape it's possible to run tubeless tyres.
